IPrint takes Microsoft's .Net route

Menlo Park, Calif.--IPrint Technologies Inc. said it has built an extensible markup language service for companies seeking printing services, which makes use of Microsoft Corp.'s .Net server software platform. The deal is significant because Microsoft Corp., Redmond, Wash., has been aggressively recruiting b-to-b service providers to build their Internet services on the .Net platform, which works best when accessed by people using Microsoft software on their desktop computers. IPrint is one of the first companies to debut a .Net service.
