Ironside releases buyer integrator

Published on .

Pleasanton, Calif.--Seller's software developer Ironside Technologies said Monday that it will release software called Ironside Buyer Integrator to allow companies to receive orders directly from a customer's purchasing system and enter them into its enterprise resource planning system. Ironside, which focuses on the food, chemical and electronics industries, said the new software would allow sellers to be more competitive because it will reduce redundant orders entered into a system. In integrating directly with ERP systems, Ironside follows a trend toward Web site and financial system integration. For example, Commerce One Inc. recently said its MarketSet software works with SAP AG's software to clear transactions.
