ITSMA plans technology rankings

Lexington, Mass.--The Information Technology Services Marketing Association (ITSMA) plans to release this fall a brand and positioning study for products sold to information technology employees. The organization, which specializes in advising technology companies on marketing and sales, said it will identify the key attributes IT workers seek in such companies as IBM Global Services, Hewlett-Packard Co., Oracle Corp. and Accenture. ITSMA releases the report every other year. It is significant because computer companies have historically been known to make changes to marketing messages after the release of the ITSMA report.
