Denver--J.D. Edwards & Co. announced Thursday a new print advertising campaign designed to position the company as a leader in the enterprise software market. The campaign theme is "Run with it" and features a businessperson running with an oversized light bulb, to show how J.D. Edwards can help its customers turn their ideas into reality. The ads will feature backgrounds in London and Venice, Italy, to show the global reach of the company. The ads, which tout J.D. Edwards' "Idea to Action" software, will appear in The Wall Street Journal, Business Week
and other business publications. A second phase of the campaign, scheduled for a fall debut, will promote the company's supply chain and e-business services. Shafer Advertising, Irvine, Calif., created the campaign.
