Web consumer site Ask Jeeves, Emeryville, Calif., will recruit business users with a direct mail campaign launching on May 9. The site, which allows people to get responses to questions posited in plain English, will send nearly 100,000 direct mail pieces to owners of small and medium-sized businesses, and 500,000 pieces to employees at Fortune 2000 companies.
