Jigsaw and Harte-Hanks partner on IT database contacts

San Mateo, Calif.—Business directory service Jigsaw Data Corp. has worked a deal with direct marketing company Harte-Hanks to enrich Jigsaw's database with market intelligence on information technology companies and their purchasing intentions.

Jigsaw specializes in user-generated business profiles through which members can exchange and share the business information. Its new liaison with Harte-Hanks will offer the ability to append additional marketing intelligence from Harte-Hanks' targeted IT, telecommunications and overall technology investment databases, including information about companies' installed technologies.

Earlier this month, Harte-Hanks expanded its business market intelligence to include new IT installation and spend estimates in networking, storage and telecommunications for more than 15 million small-business locations in North America and Europe.
