Why: Greco continues to push the DMA's agenda on a number of regulatory fronts at the national and state level. Fifteen do-not-mail bills have been introduced in 12 states in the past year, and so far the DMA has prevailed in its efforts to discourage the passage of any of them. Potential regulations on behavioral marketing are also looming, and Greco is at the forefront in opposing them, lobbying instead for self-regulation by the direct marketing industry.
