Jones named president-CEO of MacNeil/Lehrer Productions

Arlington, Va.—MacNeil/Lehrer Productions, which produces the “PBS NewsHour,” has named Boisfeuillet “Bo” Jones Jr., as its new president-CEO. Jones, who is vice chairman of the Washington Post Co., will start in his new role in January. As president-CEO Jones will lead corporate and foundation funding for the “PBS NewsHour” and develop documentary programs and projects. Jones succeeds Simon Marks, who is stepping down to return to reporting and producing.
