July advertising revenues flat

New York—B-to-b magazine advertising revenue was essentially flat (up 0.26%) in July compared with the same period last year, according to the Business Information Network report, prepared for American Business Media by IMS/The Auditor and PERQ/HCI for health care.

Overall revenue totaled $801.1 million. Ad pages were up 1.28% from July 2004.

Leading ad categories for July were travel, business conventions & meetings (up 25.0% to $27.5 million); business, advertising & marketing (up 23.6% to $49.7 million); and banking, financial, insurance (up 18.9% to $17 million).
