Jupiter projects enterprise spending on streaming video will reach $2.8 billion in 2005

New York--Driven largely by employee communication and b-to-b collaboration, enterprise spending on streaming video will grow from $140 million in 2000 to $2.8 billion in 2005, according to an April 12 report by Jupiter Media Metrix Inc. Based on research for the custom report, 90% of companies that have adopted streaming video technology say they use it to make their internal communication efforts more efficient and to reach more employees on a near-simultaneous basis. Jupiter projects this use will spread to streaming video for external communications, including b-to-b collaboration.
