Kate Everett-Thorp named president-interactive advertising at AKQA

San Francisco—Kate Everett-Thorp has been named president-interactive advertising at AKQA, an online advertising agency. Everett-Thorp was most recently chairman-chief marketing officer at Carat Interactive, where she was responsible for integrating the operations of Carat Interactive, Vizium and Lot21, a company she founded in 1998. In her new position, she will oversee AKQA's online advertising operations across all offices, including San Francisco, Washington, London and Singapore.
