Kefta announces marketing agreement with Intuit

San Francisco-Kefta Inc., a marketing software company, on Monday announced a marketing alliance with Intuit Inc., which provides financial software and Web-based services for small businesses. Under the terms of the agreement, Intuit will implement Kefta's referral-based customer acquisition programs on the Quicken.com site, providing Quicken users with referral opportunities for their favorite financial features and services. While referral marketing, or word-of-mouth, is a well-recognized, cost-effective tool for marketers, it has been difficult to initiate and nearly impossible to track.
