Detroit—Keith “K.C.” Crain Jr. has been named publisher of AutoWeek, Crain Communications Inc. announced Friday. Former publisherTony Merpi has been named publishing director of the weekly auto enthusiast magazine. Crain joined AutoWeek in June 2005 and was named ad director in April 2006. Prior to joining AutoWeek he was a reporter with sibling publication Automotive News. Tony Foster has been promoted to ad sales manager at AutoWeek, from Midwest ad manager. Crain Communications also publishes BtoB and Media Business.
