Published on .

Oklahoma City--Kerr-McGee Corp., an oil and chemical company, announced Friday that it will debut a new :30 TV spot on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday. The ad highlights what Kerr-McGee says is its commitment to environmental responsibility in oil exploration. The ads feature Sylvia A. Earle, the former chief scientist for the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Since 1999, Earle has served on Kerr-McGee’s board of directors. The new spot is the third in a series of ads that Kerr-McGee has produced this year highlighting its role in deepwater oil and natural gas exploration and production.
