San Francisco—Klout, the social analytics company that measures users' influence across social networks, has been added
to Facebook, providing marketers a further metric to help engage with their most influential customers and prospects.
Klout's app (developed by Involver) collects data from social sites to measure a user's network and interaction. It then provides a social influence score for that user. A marketer using Klout could then identify and target highly influential Facebook users by showing dynamically changing content or offers, for example.
The basic Klout app is free, and available directly from Involver and Klout. Paid versions provide deeper customization and content control, according to the companies.
