KPMG, Netegrity in b-to-b software marketing alliance

New York--Accounting giant KPMG L.L.P. and Netegrity Inc., a Waltham, Mass.-based software company, have entered an e-business platform development and marketing alliance. KPMG, which has 108,000 employees in 159 countries, will market Netegrity's SiteMinder software, which merges corporate and user identity information in a secure environment. The ability to deliver security-oriented software is becoming increasingly important to big accounting, tax preparation and advisory companies.
