L.I.S.T. survey projects boom in e-mail marketing

Lake Success, N.Y.--B-to-b marketers will substantially increase their use of direct e-mail marketing this year, according to a survey conducted by L.I.S.T. Inc., which provides direct marketing list services to b-to-b clients. The survey found that 81% of respondents will increase their use of direct e-mail this year, and 57% will increase their use of direct e-mail by more than 25%. Also, 65% said their use of postal mail will remain the same, while 26% said their use of postal mail would decrease.
