L2 debuts Web-based direct mail management product

San Jose, Calif.--L2 Solutions Inc. Tuesday began shipping software designed to let marketers manage direct mail campaigns through a Web browser interface. The product, called DigitaL2, allows companies to manipulate the design of mail pieces or correspondence via the Web before sending them off for production. Users upload customer or prospect data directly to the software, which resides on-site inside an NT server. L2 will charge between $50,000 and $150,000 for the package, depending on the number of modules users install. An additional monthly maintenance fee runs at 18% of the list price.
