Lack named CEO of Bloomberg’s multimedia group

New York—Bloomberg has named Andrew Lack CEO of its multimedia group. He succeeds Matt Winkler, who remains editor in chief and head of Bloomberg News.

Lack served as president of NBC News from 1993 to 2001, a period in which “Meet the Press,” “NBC Nightly News With Tom Brokaw” and “Today” each became No. 1 in its time period. Most recently he was chairman of Sony BMG Music Entertainment. He will be responsible for expanding Bloomberg’s TV, interactive and radio operations.
