St. Louis—Software company LashBack announced the introduction of BrandAlert, a content search tool for e-mail. The Web-based service lets advertisers track how their defined keywords are being used or referenced in commercial e-mails. Some of the applications for BrandAlert include monitoring brand names and trademarked terms used in e-mail, tracking who is sending e-mail to specific domains, and detecting and investigating fraud and phishing.
