Published on .

Santa Clara, Calif.-- Latitude Communications Inc. this week introduced MeetingPlace M3, an enterprise server for high-quality and high-scalability (up to 1,152 concurrent users) IP media conferencing. The tool leverages Motorola’s cPCI telephony platform. MeetingPlace M3 supports enterprise IT initiatives with: a single, integrated Web and voice conferencing solution; Outlook and Notes integration to ease scheduling and attending meetings; corporate directory integration to simplify administration and enhance system security; and advanced security options for controlling and protecting conferences. Separately, Latitude announced that it would partner with Radvision Ltd. to offer an integrated, Web, voice and video IP conferencing solution. Available in the fall, the product will enable companies to enhance employee, customer and vendor communication in virtual meetings and to simplify scheduling rich-media sessions.
