Leo Burnett Technology Group opens San Francisco office

Published on .

San Francisco--Leo Burnett Technology Group has opened a new office near this tech center's ``Multimedia Gulch.'' The agency added an office here to take advantage of the technology boom that has seen ad agencies actually turning away clients. Robert Ahearn, president of Burnett Technology Group/San Francisco, declined to disclose the office's clients but said it stood poised to sign a handful of clients in the coming weeks. The office, which is affiliated with TFA/Leo Burnett Technology Group's Boston, Chicago and Austin, Texas, offices, has dropped the ``TFA,'' because the office wanted to emphasize Burnett's history of brand building, Mr. Ahearn said. The office started with 11 employees, and Mr. Ahearn, who came to Burnett from Euro RSCG Worldwide, San Francisco, expects to have nine more by the end of the year.
