Lexalytics releases upgraded text analytics solution

Amherst, Mass.—Text analytics company Lexalytics has released a new version of its Salience Engine used in reputation monitoring and opinion tracking.

Salience 4.0’s new entity engine allows companies to identify products and brands from within online text without the use of large product lists or dictionaries and can also detect entity relationships. The upgrade leverages the merger last July of Lexalytics’ text analytics business with U.K.-based Infonic, a company with complementary products.
