LexisNexis launches Smart Meeting sales-enablement tool

New York—Research and content provider LexisNexis Legal & Professional has introduced new software dubbed Smart Meeting. The tool provides sales reps with information on client and potential-client companies using the email addresses of meeting attendees. The software, which is integrated with Microsoft Inc.'s Outlook calendar, lists companies that match the emails' domain names. It can then trigger emails to sales personnel that include such information about those companies as breaking news, executive moves, merger-and-acquisition activity and financial results.
