Li named publisher of ‘Condé Nast Portfolio’

Published on .

New York—William Li has been named publisher of Condé Nast Portfolio. Li joins Condé Nast Portfolio from Men’s Vogue, where he had been publisher since its 2006 inception.

The move comes a week after a management shake-up at Condé Nast in which David Carey, who had run the business side of the magazine, was named group president and publishing director of Condé Nast Publications.

Carey was also given oversight of Wired and Condé Nast’s golf titles. Drew Schutte, who had been publishing director of Wired Media, was named VP-publishing director of The New Yorker.

In another move, Dan Colarusso has been named managing editor of Portfolio.com. Colarusso, most recently metropolitan editor of The New York Post, will start working at the Web site on Jan. 28. He will succeed Chris Jones, who left Portfolio.com in November.
