Light Reading relaunches on new community platform

New York—UBM Tech's Light Reading, an online brand serving the global communications industry, has relaunched on the community-driven media platform that is being rolled out throughout the company as part of a new corporate strategy announced in April. The redesigned website (www.lightreading.com) combines daily editorial coverage with a content strategy focused on enhancing interaction among community members on the site's blogs and message boards, as well as at Light Reading's in-person events, such as the Ethernet & SDN Expo. The website will introduce additional features in the coming months, including the Light Reading University educational program for communications practitioners, the company said in a statement.
