New York--The editorial team that produced Line56
recently morphed the remnants of the magazine into Portals.
The quarterly publication, which debuted in October with a controlled circulation of 35,000, has a companion Web site and a monthly e-mail newsletter with 10,000 subscribers. The magazine targets decision makers in midsize and large companies and organizations, including government and education. Initial advertisers include EDS Corp., Google.com, Plumtree Software Inc. and Sun Microsystems. âAll of our readers are pre-qualified for e-business initiatives, and at the top of the list is portal technology,â said Brian Cronin, publisher of Portals.
