Mountain View, Calif.—Online professional network LinkedIn announced it has agreed to acquire ChoiceVendor, a startup that provides ratings and reviews of b-to-b service providers in more than 70 categories in the U.S. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

San Francisco-based ChoiceVendor was founded by CEO Yan-David Erlich and VP-Engineering Rama Ranganath.

“Our acquisition of ChoiceVendor is right in line with our top priority to build a world-class team at LinkedIn," Jeff Weiner, LinkedIn CEO, said in a statment. “We've admired the work that Yan-David, Rama and the talented ChoiceVendor team have done for some time now, and are excited to have them join us.”

LinkedIn, which has more than 75 million members worldwide, acquired mSpoke in August. Based in Pittsburgh, mSpoke uses technology to make relevant online media recommendations.
