Long Pond purchases ‘Industrial Utility Vehicle’

New York—Long Pond Publishing, a newly formed media company, announced it has acquired the assets of Industrial Utility Vehicle and its annual trade show, the IUV Technology Conference. Financial terms were not disclosed. Peter Armour, a soon-to-be former Condé Nast executive, founded Long Pond to acquire IUV. The magazine (10,000 circ.) was launched in 1999 by Webcom Communications Corp. and serves readers in the automotive off-highway equipment industry. The third annual IUV Technology Conference will be held Sept. 21-22 in Chicago.
