LookSmart releases new version of AdCenter API

Feb. 28 New York—LookSmart, a vertical search network, has released a new version of its AdCenter API. The enhanced API—which stands for application program interface—enables advertisers, agencies and partners to connect any type of marketing or reporting software to LookSmart’s search network, according to the company. LookSmart also announced it has signed agreements with pay-per-click management and analytics software providers, which will use the API in their software applications. Those providers include ClickTracks, LivePerson and WebSideStory.
