Published on .

New York--Interpublic Group of Cos.' Lowe Lintas & Partners is dropping "Lintas" from its name and adopting "Lowe" as its global identity, according to AdAge.com. A Lowe Lintas spokesman would not confirm the report. The rebranding follows years of mergers and name changes at the advertising agency. The name Lintas dates back to 1929, when Lever Bros. set up a house agency under the name Lever International Advertising Service, or Lintas.
