'Macworld,' Farm Progress introduce apps

Published on .

San Francisco—IDG's Macworld has released the Macworld Daily Reader, its first native iPad application. The app combines elements from the print magazine with content from Macworld.com.

The Daily Reader app updates constantly as content is posted on Macworld.com. While the native app is not a digital replica of the print product, a digital-replica edition of the monthly magazine continues to be available.

Separately, Farm Progress Cos. introduced the Farm Futures app, which offers market analysis, customizable live CBOT/CME quotes and agricultural news. The app is available in versions for Android smartphones and for iPhones.
