Magazine ad revenue up in November

New York--Magazine ad revenue increased 7.7% to $1.9 billion in November from a year earlier, but pages declined 2.8%, according to the Magazine Publishers of America's Publishers Information Bureau. Ten of the 12 categories measured experienced revenue growth, including media & advertising, which rose 12% to $124.1 million, and technology, which increased 15.2% to $139.1 million. Direct response revenue dropped 4.2% to $105.8 million.
