Advertising revenue increased 11.6% to $1.6 billion in March, compared with the same month last year.
Ad pages for March were up 9.1% to 21,561.
Nine of the 12 major ad categories showed revenue growth last month. Direct response, technology and food products all experienced single-digit declines in revenue.
Ad revenue increased 9.5% year-over-year in January and 10.2% in February.
