Majority of marketers use live online events, study finds

Washington, D.C.—A majority of marketers (87%) say live Web-based events, such as webinars, play a major role in supporting sales and lead generation. That is among the findings of Larstan Business Reports in a study published Thursday. Webinars have become a powerful and cost-effective means for pitching several prospects simultaneously, it said, because they preclude the expense of direct sales calls and travel.
