Manticore, Sales Engine merge

Austin, Texas—Marketing automation software company Manticore Technology and sales acceleration company Sales Engine International, longtime partners on various projects, have merged and will operate under the Sales Engine International name. According to the companies, marketing automation lags in adoption and efficiencies not because of technological shortcomings but because of lack of sales-marketing integration, revenue acceleration and content creation. The merger seeks to address this, said Sales Engine International CEO Paul Rafferty, in a statement. Rafferty will remain as CEO of the new company.
