Manufacturing group, FedEx enter marketing pact

Washington, D.C.--The National Association of Manufacturers announced it has signed a marketing agreement with FedEx Corp. The agreement makes the Memphis-based company’s shipping services available to thousands of association members at discounted rates. NAM represents 14,000 members, including 10,000 small and midsize companies. "The formation of this alliance with the National Association of Manufacturers gives FedEx access to a very desirable and very loyal membership," Brian Philips, FedEx’s VP-U.S. marketing, said in a statement.
