Marketing automation company Marketbright has introduced Event Manager, an event marketing management solution that combines administrative tools with lead generation and nurturing functions. Event Manager allows marketers to add or subtract campaigns from Web sites; optimize search for better event-specific results; convert e-mail lists into customized event invitations; and create automatic e-mail follow-ups after events are concluded. A response analysis tool tracks inquiries in real time to determine if changes to the campaign are needed and funnels data about attendees into a lead qualifying engine for sales, to determine further actions, according to the company.

Users of the site can share files, participate in discussion forums and schedule meetings and calls, among other services.
Reed Business Information's Tradeshow Week announced Monday that it has relaunched its Buyer's Guide Online Directory (http://buyersguide.tradeshow week.com). The guide features more than 6,000 North American exhibition industry sites and supplier listings. The directory has been revamped to include keyword searches and new advertising opportunities, such as slide shows and customized keyword searches.
