U.S., an Internet exchange aimed at marketers in disciplines ranging from direct marketing to consulting to media planning, has launched. The exchange ( allows execs to do searches for marketing vendors, put out RFPs and sign deals online. U.S., Cambridge, Mass., is targeting a fragmented but mammoth marketplace; the $500 million U.S. marketing industry consists of some 165,000 vendors.
