“This year, our focus is social media because it's a rapidly growing, cost-effective channel to reach our customers. We launched the Verizon Small Biz Blog, the Small Business Forum and a professional networking site, allowing SMBs to network. Plans are under way to launch a Verizon Small Biz FaceBook fan page and a Twitter handle so we can provide relevant and informative news and insights that will be helpful to many small businesses. Knowing social media is new to many, Verizon has held free webinars featuring SMB experts offering insights to get started and how to attract and engage customers online.”
