Another marketing exec exits Novell

Provo, Utah--Novell lost another executive this week when Patti Dock, director of marketing, left the company, according to a report on ZDNet, Ziff-Davis' online business unit. Ms. Dock's departure follows that of John Slitz, senior VP-corporate marketing, who resigned two months ago. Christopher Stone, senior VP-strategy and corporate development, resigned in September to help found Network Decisions, an Internet start-up. Novell posted net income of $49 million in its third fiscal quarter, which ended July 31, compared with net income of $27 million in the same period last year.
