Marketo to buy Web tech company Insightera

San Mateo, Calif.—Marketing automation company Marketo Inc. announced plans to acquire website personalization company Insightera. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Insightera, also based in San Mateo, offers real-time personalization products that identify website visitors by company, industry, location and visit history, then customizes what these visitors see with relevant content. Following the acquisition, Marketo will sell Insightera's products under the Insightera brand but will eventually market them as Marketo products, Marketo said in a statement.
