MarketWatch.com closes merger with Pinnacor

San Francisco--MarketWatch.com announced the completion of its merger with Pinnacor, a provider of financial applications.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The newly merged company will operate under the name MarketWatch.com and continue to trade on the Nasdaq National Market under the symbol MKTW.

The company will provide online business news and financial tools to organizations in banking, brokerage services and the media. MarketWatch.com operates CBSMarketWatch.com and BigCharts.com.
