MasterCard launches new advertising aimed at small businesses

Purchase, N.Y.—MasterCard International has launched a new ad campaign with the tagline “Get wired,” aimed at small businesses.

The global campaign includes TV, print and online. A TV spot titled “Flex” will be launched this week and will run during TV broadcasts of the World Series.

Print advertising is running in publications including BusinessWeek, Time, U.S. News & World Report, Business 2.0, Entrepreneur, Fast Company and Fortune.

The campaign also features a sweepstakes, in which small businesses can win one of three $50,000 technology makeovers for their businesses.
