McCracken named 'PC World' VP-editor in chief

San Francisco--International Data Group’s PC World announced the promotion of Harry McCracken from editor to VP-editor in chief, effective immediately. In his new role, McCracken will direct all editorial, design, and testing for PC World, PCWorld.com, and the PC World Test Center. He joined IDG in 1991. His previous title at PC World was editor.
