McGraw-Hill outlines Global Construction Summit program

New York--McGraw-Hill Construction announced the program for the Global Construction Summit it has organized with the China International Contractors Association.

The conference, which will take place April 14-16 in Beijing, is expected to attract more than 350 construction industry executives from around the world.

McGraw-Hill said that several senior Chinese government officials are scheduled to attend the event, including Huang Wei, vice minister, Ministry of Construction, and Chen Jian, assistant minister, Ministry of Commerce, both of whom will deliver keynote addresses.

Key construction industry executives who will be speaking include leaders of the top Chinese design and construction firms, such as China State Construction Engineering Corp., Shanghai Construction Group, China Architecture Design & Research Group and Shanghai Xian Dai Architectural Design (Group) Co. Companies from outside China expected to participate include Bechtel, Fluor, Perkins & Will, Caterpillar, DuPont and Whirlpool.
