Washington--The National Association of Home Builders said Monday it has signed a deal to co-brand with the Sweet's Division Residential Catalog File and Residential Directory, part of The McGraw-Hill Cos.' Construction Information Group. The deal will allow Sweet's to distribute its catalogs to more than 200,000 homebuilders. Web site links will carry association members between the trade association and the Sweet's e-commerce marketplace.NAHB CEO Jerry Howard said, "This alliance with Sweet's brings a new value-added benefit" to trade association members. It will provide an on-ramp for builders seeking ways to get building materials cheaper, as well as access to the date-sensitive marketing information Sweet's has always provided on recently initiated public and private construction processes. McGraw-Hill's Construction Information Group is a trusted brand within the construction industry, producing such well-known publications and information services as F.W. Dodge, Sweet's, Engineering News-Record, Architectural Record and Design-Build. It also operates the HYPERLINK "http://www.construction.com" Construction.com site. Overall, the McGraw-Hill unit employs about 1,700 people.
