Published on .

San Francisco—Kevin McKean, chairman-editorial director of International Data Group’s InfoWorld, confirmed Thursday that he is leaving the company. He did not elaborate on his future plans. Robert Ostrow, who joined InfoWorld as president-publisher in May, will be the sole manager of the IDG unit. McKean is the second prominent IDG executive to depart since Bob Carrigan was named president of the company in June. Walter Manninen, CEO of IDG’s CXO Media, left the company last week.
