Published on .

San Francisco--Internet finance news site MarketWatch.com said Tuesday it will use the customer knowledge software and services of ComScore Networks. The move is an early step by publisher MarketWatch to begin measuring and serving its daily Web readers to its CBSMarketWatch.com, BigCharts.com and U.K.-based FTMarketWatch.com sites in expanded ways. ComScore’s netScore brand of products, also used by such companies as Microsoft Corp., Ford Motor Co. and GlaxoSmithKline, uses audience sampling and broad Web measurement to correlate Web users with spending patterns.
