Media entrepreneur Giesea sells second startup

New York—Jeff Giesea, who founded b-to-b digital media brand FierceMarkets in 2001 and sold it to Questex in 2008, has sold his second startup, BestVendor, to DocStoc, an online platform for sharing business documents. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. BestVendor, started in early 2011, provides listings, reviews and user recommendations on business software applications for the desktop, Web or mobile devices. The company had reportedly raised $3.6 million in two funding rounds.
